Britain's Disabled Strongman Competition 2019

Britain's Disabled Strongman Competition returned to Chard this year and we at Milford and Dormor were extremely proud to sponsor the event.

The Competition was originally set up by a Chard resident in 2015 and this is the second time the National Champtionship has been held in the town.

The event was a huge sell out success with four-time World's Strongest Man Magnus Magnusson and World's Disabled Strongman Arnar Mar Johnsson both in attendance to judge the Competition.

The event gained coverage from both local and national press and there was even a live stream via Facebook.

We were in absolute awe of the competitors, both their strength and their committment to training. It was a great privelege to be a part of such a wonderful event held in our home town.
